Mural Project: Beginning Fall & Winter

Our mural features the four seasons of the year with bear and rabbit characters. Summer and spring are mostly complete. Today Karl worked on applying the second coat of green to the treeline while Taiki, Katrina, AnnaMaria, and I began painting the fall and winter scenes. We spent about five hours working on the mural before the heat depleted us. It’s been slow and uncomfortable work thank to the hot summer sun shining down on the metal building. We have to take lots of hydration breaks to avoid becoming heat sick. We’ve learned a lot while working on this project. Thankfully we’re past the halfway point. Hooray!
