Si’kono She’va Alah’vast’nu: The Artist’s Invocation

True art is an expression of the soul.
It is a calling that cannot be contained, an energy that must be released. To withhold it is to create a dam within the self—one that builds pressure, causing unease, anxiety, and tension in both body and spirit.

Art is not always logical. It does not always arrive with clear purpose or explanation. Yet, it must be expressed. To create is to move, to breathe, to align. Before the masterpiece can emerge, the clutter must be discarded—the noise, the distractions, the stagnant energy held within. One must empty the vessel of its burdens so that the soul’s true essence may flow freely like ink in a pen.

(The Flow of the Soul Purifies the Vessel.)

Like meditation, this is a process of cleansing and emptying the body and mind. But it is an active purging—a deliberate clearing of inner clutter to make space for divine inspiration to enter. This divine communication is not something separate from you. It is your own connection to the sacred, to your higher self, to the part of you that exists beyond this realm. It longs to speak to you and through you, but first, you must make room for it. Take out the trash. Remove the blocks. Create space for the flow.

To make is both destruction and creation. At first, it is a release—a shedding of noise, tension, and stagnant energy. It is the clearing of inner clutter, the removal of what no longer serves. But as the process continues, something shifts. The emptiness left behind becomes fertile ground. Space opens, and inspiration floods in. The body, now an open channel, translates this energy into art. What begins as raw expression transforms into something more—a reflection of the unseen, a message shaped by the soul.

Creative purging creates room for divine inspiration, a spark that ignites within. The body then translates this energy into art, becoming a vehicle for something beyond itself—producing an object that expresses, either through process or outcome, a message from your soul. It exists for your own benefit, but also for those whose souls may recognize something of their own within it.

To surrender to the process is to become a conduit for something greater, that part of yourself that your physical body cannot hold because it is as expansive as the universe which it permeates.

Let the ink spill.
Let the brush dance.
Let the body move.
Let the song rise.
Let the first marks be raw, unfiltered, imperfect.
Let them clear the way.
Let them wash through you so that your true voice may emerge.

The act of creation is sacred.
It is movement.
It is transformation.
It is healing.

You are not just an artist.
You are a vessel, a translator, a force.
You are a being through which the unseen becomes known.

By its nature, art is a spiritual and sacred act of creation. There are no mistakes. What is, is. You keep going until you reach the essence and collapse from joyful exertion.

Do not hold back.
Do not fear what must come out first.
Do not question the process.

Let it flow until it pours out of you with an urgency that cannot be ignored.

Now go. Get rid of the clutter, empty your vessel, and enjoy the beautiful flow state that occurs when you and your soul are in sync.

I can’t wait to see the beautiful things you create.
