Hauteur: Tea Branding & Packaging; 2010 This was a self-appointed branding/package design project I worked on during an independent study in graphic design class with Sharon Wasden. I was essentially designing my version of Starbucks for Tea.
Aaaaaahhhhhhhh... So I feel a little guilty that my post are never as frequent, and never deal with the topics I would like them to, so here's my excuse. "I've been busy." I'm enjoying my job more and more every day. It's so nice to clock out at the end of my shift and not take any work home with me. And because most of the work I do is pretty repetitive, mostly image clipping, retouching, photography, and illustration, I've been able to learn many of the tools really well, and learn new tools and methods as well. This year's homecoming theme is Paint the Town Red. AnnaMaria came up with an excellent design and is doing a fantastic job with the banner itself. Karl made the frame. Great job everyone!
Karl, AnnaMaria, and I made more progress on the mural project. It's starting to look really cute now that the characters and flowers are mostly filled in.

I have been crazy busy since my last post, especially during the last 3 weeks. I attended a sci fi/anime convention that some friends help run called CrisisCon in Huntsville, AL for 3 days and then immediately came home, packed, and left for 5 days in Charleston, SC. Charleston wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I had a good time. Architecture and art are my favorite things to see when I visit a new city and Charleston had tons of both.
