Yellow Suckling Clover
Yellow Suckling Clover | #100daysofscanography Day 7 #100dayproject This stuff grows in patches all over my yard and I love it, but it's considered a weed and is a bit invasive. View this project on Behance.

Easter Candy | #100DaysofScanography Day 6 #100dayproject Here's something a bit different. A friend gave me a ton of Easter candy which I couldn't bring myself to eat so I scanned it instead. These little things look pretty darn cool magnified. A lot of them remind me of planetary bodies. I got a little carried away so I made quite a few of them for today. Enjoy!
Eastern Daisy Fleabane | #100DaysofScanography Day 5 #100dayproject Once again I'm a bit uncertain about the exact species of the flower since there are several variations that are quite similar. At this moment I believe this to be an Eastern Daisy Fleabane. A weed flower as my mother calls it but I still think it's interesting to learn about flowers and plants regardless of their 'weed' status.
Spanish Bluebells | #100DaysofScanography Day 4 #100dayproject It took a bit of research to figure out what these little bell shaped flowers are and I'm still not 100% but they appear to be Spanish Bluebells aka Wood Hyacinth. Spanish Bluebells stalks are straight and do not have the curve seen in English Bluebells. Growing Bluebells: Care of Wood Hyacinth Bluebells

Star of Bethlehem | #100DaysofScanography Day 2 #100dayproject This beautiful little white star-shaped flower is considered invasive in many areas because of how difficult it is to keep it from spreading wildly. Gardeners don't recommend planting it but say that if it's something you absolutely must have in your garden plant it in containers or a lined bed so that the bulbs don't spread. The #100DayProject kicked off around the web today and I decided to join in. I'm doing 100 Days of Scanography (Image making with a scanner) which I love because of the unique depth of field. I have some projects I've been wanting to do with the scanner so this will be great practice. I'm going to begin by focusing on plants, specifically those in my yard so I can learn more about what's growing in my yard. Hooray for multi-purpose projects!
