This year's homecoming theme is Paint the Town Red. AnnaMaria came up with an excellent design and is doing a fantastic job with the banner itself. Karl made the frame. Great job everyone!

Another crazy semester
I have been crazy busy since my last post, especially during the last 3 weeks. I attended a sci fi/anime convention that some friends help run called CrisisCon in Huntsville, AL for 3 days and then immediately came home, packed, and left for 5 days in Charleston, SC. Charleston wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I had a good time. Architecture and art are my favorite things to see when I visit a new city and Charleston had tons of both. Mural Project Progress
Stacey, Karl, and I made a little more progress on the Little Tree Preschool mural project. Thank goodness for overcast days.
Mural Project: Foundations
Allison, Josh, AnnaMaria, Karl, and I made more progress on the mural project. Karl brought our ladder so I was able to put him to work on the treeline. It's coming together slowly but surely.
Mural Project: The Painting Begins
Taiki, AnnaMaria, Anna, and I applied the first coat of paint for the grass and treeline of summer and spring. The house paint we're using goes on thin so we'll probably need at least 2-3 coats. It's also a bit runny. Sigh. I have a feeling this is going to take awhile. We wrapped up our work around 8:30 and went to Subway together for dinner afterwards. I love Art Alliance meals at Subway. :)
