Surreal Landscape, Digital Painting

Surreal Landscape, Digital Painting | Fall 2009 Class: Adv. Imaging Professor: Doug Clark Software: Photoshop This digital painting was made for part of my final project Disconnected From Reality. The idea was to place photographic cutouts into illustrated environments to portray a sense of isolation and disassociation.

Scene Painting

I thoroughly enjoyed taking this scene painting class in the drama department. It gave me a chance to paint BIG and to learn a lot of new techniques. It was also nice to meet a new group of people, including fellow JHS graduate Chad Miller. Scene Painting, Drama Department Professor Carlton Ward Spring 2009

Self-Portraits

A few self-portraits from one of my drawing classes at JSU. I think these were for Drawing II or III so they are probably from 2007. I wasn't allowed to use a photograph for reference so I had to look back and forth at a mirror and try not to move too much. The creepy one was for a contrasty light assignment. Marshall

Marshall, 2005 Drypoint Engraving on Plexiglass My first experiment with engraving plexiglass. It seems to be the easiest method of printmaking I've learned thus far. Class: Printmaking II Professor: Marvin Shaw Spring 2005
