This week was so packed full of fun art things in and outside school that I think it's going to take me a day or two to recover before I can get back to work on some of my research projects. This week flew by. I'm almost over my cold so I'm feeling a lot better but I was ready for the week to be over Tuesday evening. I think this week felt a bit long since I was on campus Saturday and Monday in addition to Tuesday and Thursday. I do finally feel like I'm finally catching up and finding my rhythm. I think I now get why some of my professor friends warned me about grad school being hard on a marriage. Though Karl and I physically inhabited the same space this weekend I barely felt present. To be fair, I am feeling extra overwhelmed from being sick, and a heavy freelance load, but just the sheer volume of research and pressure to work at a higher level for grad school is more than enough to cause me to be checked out.
