Project Description Paperback book cover design for The Story of My Life by Helen Keller. A few of my classmates and I drove out to Ivy Green, Helen Keller’s home in Tuscumbia, AL to photograph and research ideas for our project. I was most impressed with the gigantic trees in the yard covered in ivy, which is most likely where the home got its name. I photographed the trees, the house, and the rest of the property and ended up using my photographs for reference for the digital painting featured on my cover design. In Over Our Heads

We were given several photomerge assignments. These two images feature my wonderful, but very frustrated husband. Both of these images were originally much wider but I think they work better cropped in a bit.
