It was an honor to have five images from my #metoo series included in the [SPE] 8th Annual International Combined Caucus Exhibition juried by Zackary Drucker. An opening reception was held at BOX 13 Artspace in Houston, TX on March 6th, and the show will remain on display through April 18, 2020. Society for Photographic Education National Conference Houston, TX; March 4th-8th @ The Westin Galleria Another wonderful SPE conference surrounded by amazing people! It's been 10 years since I joined SPE and it remains one of my absolute favorite communities. Chemigrams: Beautiful Little Mysteries

Chemigrams are an experimental art form made by chemically manipulating light-sensitive paper. These were made using a variety of resists that include common kitchen and household items such as eggs, butter, jelly, cooking spray, sunscreen, dish soap, and tape. The resists are applied to the paper while the paper is being exposed to light and then moved back and forth between developer and fix until the desired result is achieved.

Top 50 in Hahnemühle Student Photo Competition

I'm excited to share that my #metoo series was selected as a top 50 finalist out of 700 entries in the international Hahnemühle Student Photo Competition entitled Show Us Your Series. I feel so honored to of been selected as one of the top 50 finalists from over 700 entries, especially in an international competition.
