This project is written, narrated, filmed, and edited by me. It is a personal exploration of spirituality, storytelling, and the search for truth through creative expression. Through this series, I invite you to join me in questioning, reflecting, and uncovering the [...]

Meet NOVA: My AI Assistant

Introducing NOVA: My AI Assistant for Creative and Educational Workflows To kick off my new education-focused YouTube channel, CarolSensi, I created a video exploring how I use AI—specifically, NOVA (my name for ChatGPT)—as a tool to streamline my workflow. As an artist, educator, and designer juggling multiple projects, I’m always looking for ways to work smarter. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas, drafting content, organizing thoughts, or refining my teaching materials, AI has become an invaluable assistant. But rather than seeing it as a replacement for creative work, I use it as an enhancement—a thought partner that helps me work more efficiently [...]

1 Second Everyday, Fall 2018

I've done 1 Second a Day projects before and always enjoy them. Assignment: Use the 1 Second Everyday app to record a moment from each day during the semester. Class: Video for Photographers Instructor: Doug Clark Tools: iPhone, 1 Second Everyday (app)

Jem and the Holograms Makeup Tutorial

Another How to Cosplay instructional video! This one is a Jem and the Holograms makeup tutorial. I had a lot of fun making this video. I'm a huge fan of '80s cartoons and Jem is one of my favorites. This shoot was a little more complex than my previous one. I used three cameras for this shoot, two for my main setup, and one for shooting b-roll. I used the Voice Recorder Pro app on my iPhone to record audio. Shout out to my husband Karl for helping me start and stop cameras during filming. He's the best! Assignment: Create [...]

How to Cosplay: How to Put on a Wig

Bringing it all together! This instructional video was a lot of fun to make, but also super tedious since I was filming myself with a little help from my husband Karl who helped stop and start the cameras. I used a two-camera setup to record the footage and used the Voice Recorder Pro app on my iPhone to record the audio. It was a challenge to sync everything up in Premiere Pro but I figured it out. Overall I'm really happy with how this video came out minus one or two audio issues. I definitely have a newfound respect for [...]
