Grad School, Day 2:

It’s only my second day of class and I am swamped with work. I spent six hours reading and researching last night and could of easily of spent another four plus hours continuing my research in order to feel prepared.

It’s been over five years since I was in undergrad so I’m feeling a bit rusty. I need to find a book or video course on essential things and terminology to review before attending grad school.

Design Readings & Research Seminar

  • Discussed possible topics for our research paper
    • I’m leaning towards doing something involving how design can help sexual trauma victims, or how design can help educate high school students on finances.
  • Looked at and discussed IDEO Method Cards
    • These cards each contain a different idea pertaining to design research. Very handy. I’d like a set for my office.
