Project Description
Energy in Motion is an ongoing exploration of movement, light, and transformation through long-exposure photography. This series captures the ephemeral traces of motion—energy made visible—by painting with light in real time. Within this body of work, certain images began forming a deeper narrative, evolving into their own subset: Path of the First Light.
This series tells the story of a world in ruins, a seemingly forgotten people searching for meaning in the darkness. When fire—whether through divine knowledge or rediscovered power—is gifted to them, it sparks a transformation. As they rise from the shadows, they ascend toward something greater, moving toward the first light of a new era. Path of the First Light is a visual journey of transformation, blending mythology, motion, and light to tell a story of resilience, rediscovery, and renewal.
A world once bathed in brilliance now lies in ruins. The remnants of a lost civilization linger in the shadows, their memories flickering like dying embers. The people of Zion, wanderers of this forgotten realm, have long dwelled in darkness, their history fractured, their future uncertain.
Then, a spark—a gift stolen from the gods or perhaps merely remembered ignites a chain reaction. The blaze spreads to those who dare to seek, casting away the cold shadow of their existence. Illumination spreads, not only in light but in knowledge, awakening what was buried beneath the weight of time.
With fire in their grasp and purpose in their hearts, they rise. What was lost is no longer forgotten. Their steps grow surer, their ascent inevitable. They move toward something greater, beyond the ruins, beyond themselves.
And then, the horizon shifts. The night fades, giving way to something new—not just a dawn, but the First Light, the beginning of everything, rediscovered. A world reborn, not as it was, but as it was always meant to be.
