Project Description
Photograms are a form of cameraless photography. They are made by placing objects directly on the surface of photographic paper which is then exposed to light and developed in the darkroom. This technique creates beautiful shadow images. Areas of the paper that receive no light appear white, areas of semi-exposure appear gray, and areas of full exposure appear black. Experimenting with this method of image creation is one of my favorite processes. These images reflect my experiments with different materials, textures, composition, and pattern.
